The new AllAssets release includes two significant changes as follows:
In addition to this we have included some Bug Fixes
Changes to AllAssets Logins
In order to improve security of the application Pinnacle will introduce a revised, Password-less Login process. This provides additional security for the application and simplify the login process.
The login process replaces the traditional AllAssets logins where the User has been used to entering their Catalog Name, their User Name and Password, or more recently their Catalog and Username. It also is compatible with some Customers' Single Sign On (SSO) processes and we will detail the changes below.
Users with standard AllAssets Logins
AllAssets Users will notice two changes as follows:
- There will be no need to select or type in a Catalog name when logging in. The User will be automatically directed to the correct catalog.
- For Customers who have more than one Catalog, such as a Sandbox environment the User will be logged in to the Production catalog by default but can easily switch to their test/sandbox catalog without having to log out.
Logging in - standard Log in
The new AllAssets login screen will now look like the following:
Having entered their email address, the AllAssets Application sends a secure code to the User via email which they enter in the following screen:
Once the User enters their code and clicks on the Submit link the AllAssets Application opens as normal and the User can see the AllAssets Dashboard screen.

Customers with Single Sign on
Pinnacle has been in touch directly with your organization and has guided your IT Team to make the required changes to the Security Settings for your Company's Single Sign on process.

Switching between Catalogs
For customers who have more than one Catalog, a Sandbox environment for example, the User sees an additional drop down list on the top right hand of the AllAssets screen as in the image below
The User can switch between the two catalogs without having to log out and log back in again. The Selected Catalog is displayed clearly in the bar at the top of the AllAssets screen.
Mass Mitigations
Pinnacle has added functionality to the Mass Risk tool to allow Users to also create the Mitigation Plans for the Assets in the Mass Risk run if they select to create a Driving Risk, with an option to also Activate the Mitigation Plans if required.
Depending on the option the User has selected the application will:
- Generate the Mitigation Plan and include all Recommendations for the Assets in the Mass Risk Collection wherever possible. This process leaves the Mitigation Plan in Draft mode.
- If selected the Application then also activates the Mitigation plan. Please note that this process will replace the current active Mitigation Plans for the selected Assets
Feedback on the Mitigation Plan run
AllAssets provides the User with feedback on the success, or otherwise, of the Mass Mitigation Plan runs in the Mass Risk Results screen. Below is an example of the Mass Risk and Mass Mitigation Results:
In this example the User can see that all of the Assets have has successful Risk Runs and the final two columns in the table show the Number of Recommendations that have been added to the Mitigation Plan and the Status of the Plan whether it is Active or Draft.
