AllAssets Release Notes - January 28th 2025

The Pinnacle Development team are pleased to release a fresh version of the AllAssets application.  This version is a Performance Release with a number of back-end improvements which will improve the User experience.

The changes are as follows:

Update to the AllAssets License Tool

Pinnacle has updated the internal licensing tool and Users will notice that the License Dialog has had a facelift, as follows:

This provides the User with a simpler view, a clear and accurate Asset count and allows the Pinnacle team to deploy Licenses more easily.

Performance Enhancements

Hierarchy Details Page - Users had reported that the load time for the Hierarchy Items page was quite slow.  The Development Team have improved the performance of this page.

Thickness Reports - Search  - Users had reported that when they were searching for the Thickness Reports for an Asset the application would take a long time to return results in the Tree View.  Having made some changes, the User will now see results almost instantaneously.

Downloading Mass Risk Results -  Some customers had reported a timeout issue when downloading large datasets of Mass Risk Results.  The Development Team have improved the performance of this report.

Media Attachment size Limit -  Customers had expressed concerns that they were unable to upload larger media attachments in to AllAssets.  The limit used to be 35MB and we have increased this to 250MB per file.

Upcoming Release

Mitigations

The Pinnacle Development team are working on a significant upgrade to the Mitigations/Inspection Planning screens.  The revised functionality will involve the following:

• A single Mitigation/Inspection Plan.  We will be removing the idea of having a Draft Plan and an Active Plan, instead there will be a Plan that has Open, Recommended and Completed tasks. 
• Enhanced interface with CMMS systems such as SAP.
• Increased functionality in Ad-hoc tasks, allowing the User to set up recurring tasks which are unrelated to Risk Based Inspection such as annual regulatory checks on equipment.
• A future version will allow Users to actively track deferrals but in the meantime we will be adding an additional date to the Mitigation Plan to allow Users to retain the original due date of a task if they have altered the due date for any reason.

Asset Hub

The Development team are improving navigation in the Asset Hub to allow Users to easily navigate through the entire record of an Asset from Asset Details to Risk Analysis to Mitigations and Inspection Reports.

Part of this development will also include some improvements to adding new Inspection and Thickness Reports.
